بدعوة من البيت الفلسطيني-تورنتو أمسية ُملهمة مع العضو البرلمان الكندي السيد فارس السعود من أصوال فلسطينية . حيث كان اللقاء مع أبناء الجالية الفلسطينية و العربية و حيث استمع الحضور الى قصته الملهمة في شق طريقه نحو البرلمان الكندي في سن مبكر و عن رحلته القيادية و المثابرة و التي تعتبر مثال يحتذى به للشباب. و حيث شكر البيت الفلسطيني-تورنتو على الدعوة و أكد فارس ان من اهدافه هو إيصال صوت الشباب الى البرلمان . و حديثه تمحور عن أهمية دور الشباب في المجتمع و الانخراط في الأعمال الأجتماعية و السياسية ليكونوا ُبناة المجتمع في جميع الأختصاصات . و استعرض فارس بعض النصائح للأهل في كيفية مساعدة أبنائهم في رسم ملامح مستقبلهم.
و حيث كانت الأمسية رائعة و النقاش مع الشباب الحضور بالغ الأهمية و مؤثرا.
و تكلم في هذا السياق الاستاذة زهرة النصار مسؤولة اللجنة النسائية للنشاطات و الشابة راند الجبالي عن لجنة الشابات و الطالب عز الدين الموعد مسؤول نادي الطلبة و حيث رحبوا بالضيف و اعتبروا هذه المناسبة فرصة رائعة للتعرف عن قرب على شخصية فتية شقت طريقها نحو المستقبل و الاستفادة من خبرته المهنية التي تزيل الكثير من الهواجس لجيل الشباب الذين يترددون في الانخراط في المجتمع الكندي.
و حضر كل من الاخ ابو سمير رشاد صالح رئيس جمعية العربية الفلسطينية اونتاريو
و الاخ غسان ابو لاوي منسق حركة الشباب الفلسطيني في تورنتو الكبرى
و السيدة المهندسة رئيسة جمعية نساء من اجل فلسطين
و رئيس جمعية الطلبة الفلسطينيين بجامعة غويلف (GPSA): لؤي العرفي.
و رئيس ونائب رئيس جمعية طلاب الشرق الأوسط بجامعة غويلف (MESA): توماس سلّوم ومروان الزعبي. و الاخ الناشط في حقوق الانسان المهندس بشار الشوا و الناشط الفلسطيني المهندس أحمد عناية و كذلك كان الحضور لافتا للمهندسين و طلاب الجامعات و الثانويات الكندية و ناشطات المجتمع المدني .
قدم ابو أحمد الشاعر قصيدة ترحيبة بسعادة النائب و حيث اهلمت كلمات القصيدة الجمهور و حيث كانت مفرداتها من وحي الأمسية الملهمة.
و بدوره رحب المهندس أمين الموعد
رئيس البيت الفلسطيني تورنتو بالسيد فارس السعود و شكره على تلبية الدعوة و قام الموعد بدوره بتكريم سعادة عضو البرلمان الكندي السيد فارس السعود بميدالية ذهبية و صندوق خشبي تراثي على دوره في تبني صوت الشباب في البرلمان و جهوده المشكورة في اعتراف كندا بدولة فلسطين. و كذلك تم تكريم الاخ رشاد صالح بدرع تقديرا لدوره الريادي في عمله الوطني المتواصل في كندا .
شكرا جزيلا لعريفة الحفل سوسن و المتطوعين الذين بذلوا جهود في انجاح هذه الأمسية.
Inspiring evening with MP Fares Al Soud at Palestine House-Toronto
Invited by the Palestinian House – Toronto, an inspiring evening with the Canadian Parliament member, Mr. Fares Al-Soud, of Palestinian origin. Where the meeting was with the children of the Palestinian and Arab community, and where the audience listened to his inspiring story of making his way to the Canadian Parliament at a young age, and about his journey of leadership and perseverance, which is an example for the youth. The Palestinian House thanked Toronto for the invitation and Fares confirmed that one of his goals is to get the voice of youth to parliament. His talk is centered on the importance of the role of youth in society and engaging in social and political work to be the builders of society in all disciplines. Fares reviewed some advice for parents on how to help their children map out their future.
And as the evening was wonderful and the discussion with the young people, attendance is very important and influential.
In this context, Mrs. Zahra Al-Nassar, the manager of the Women’s Committee for Activities, and the young Rand Al-Jabali spoke about the Committee of the Youth and the student Ezaddin Al-Mawed, the manager of a student club, where they welcomed the guest and considered this occasion a great opportunity to get to know closely the personality of a boy who made her way to the future and to benefit from His professional experience that removes many obsessions of the younger generation who are reluctant to engage in Canadian society.
Mr. Abu Samir Rashad Saleh, the president of the Palestinian Arab Association of Ontario attended.
Brother Ghassan Abu Lawy, coordinator of the Palestinian Youth Movement in Greater Toronto.
And the lady engineer is the president of the Association of Women for Palestine
And the president of the Palestinian Student Association at the University of Guelph (GPSA): Loui Al-Arfi.
President and Vice President of the Middle East Students Association at the University of Guelph (MESA): Thomas Salom and Marwan Al-Zaabi. The brother, human rights activist, Engineer Bashar Al-Shawa, and Palestinian activist, Engineer Ahmed Enaya. Also the attendance was a Lafta for engineers, students of Canadian universities, high schools, and civil society activists.
Abu Ahmed the poet presented a welcome poem with the happiness of the deputy, where the words of the poem attracted the audience and where its vocabulary was one of the inspiring evening revelations.
In his turn, engineer Amin Al-Mawed welcomed.
The Speaker of the Palestinian House Toronto thanked Mr. Fares Al-Saud for answering the invitation and the appointment took his turn to honor His Excellency, the Member of Parliament of Canada, Mr. Fares al-Saud with a gold medal and a heritage wooden box for his role in adopting the voice of youth in Parliament and his thanked efforts in Canada’s recognition of the State of Palestine. Brother Rashad Saleh was also honored with a shield in recognition of his pioneering role in his continuous national work in Canada.
